
Role Overview
- Support the implementation of GFF’s communications strategy and annual plans
- Amplify the voices and work of GFF’s grantee partners advancing girls’ rights and gender justice
- Contribute to content creation, storytelling, and digital engagement across platforms
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and coordinate content for the website, social media, newsletters, and publications
- Support digital campaigns and key commemorative moments (e.g. International Day of the Girl)
- Assist with website updates, social media management, and basic analytics
- Collaborate with internal teams and strategic partners on joint communications initiatives
- Support outreach, learning dissemination, and grantee communications capacity
Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in strategic communications (non-profit or gender justice sector preferred)
- Strong writing and editing skills; digital and visual skills a plus
- Experience using tools such as WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp, and social media platforms
- Demonstrated commitment to racial, social, and economic justice
Languages
- English required
- French or Spanish desirable
Compensation & Timing
- Salary: USD $51,000 – $64,000 (dependent on location and experience)
