Responsibilities of the Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager include:
Flexible support & project management for in-country and global fundraising:
- Supporting country and global teams with priority in-country & global donor lead generation, prioritization & engagement
- Developing high quality, brand-accurate core content in service of generating new catalytic in-country and global donor partnerships, including pitch decks etc.
- Providing pitch materials for management team outreach to potential funders.
Writing:
- Owning the end-to-end drafting of funding proposals, pitches, concept notes, grantee reports, and more, for a variety of audiences.
- Partnering with funders, as well as product, programs, and research teams to design core program parameters for proposals and communicate them effectively.
Reporting & analytics in support of organizational fundraising goals & strategy:
- Providing oversight / owning routine reporting on overall fundraising pipeline and revenue projections
- Working closely with GiveDirectly’s VP Partnerships & Philanthropy on on rapid turn-around requests and special projects in service of GiveDirectly’s Executive Team
- Contributing to GiveDirectly’s growing fundraising pipeline and tracking performance against ambitious fundraising goals.
- Identifying opportunities for improved analytics (via dashboards, processes, trackers, etc.) proactively and implementing ideas.
Relationship Management and Communications:
- Maintaining relationships with assigned current partners and tracking their strategic priorities, including day to day informal and formal communications and presentations
- Building and scaling systems for gold standard relationship management and grants administration (including regular update calls, customised proposals, and reports).

- Bring a minimum of 4 years experience in a top private or public sector organization
- Love data analytics, and have an ability to present complex information clearly for a variety of audiences would be an asset
- Are genuinely excited and energy for the work we do and for collaborating with others
Compensation
At GiveDirectly, we strive to pay our employees generously and equitably. We use an accredited third party salary aggregator to ensure that staff’s total compensation package (base compensation + bonus) falls within the 75th percentile of similar roles, at similar organizations. - The United States base salary for this role is $94,700.
- The Kenya base salary for this role is $61,900.
- The UK base salary for this role is £61,200.00.
This role is fully remote, so if you are not based in one of the countries above, we will share an estimated salary benchmark for the country you are based in during the hiring process.
