Expected Results

  1. Design and develop a comprehensive MOH-UNICEF youth engagement strategy that empowers youths to share
their voices, access information, and mobilize for action for the uptake of routine immunization, including HPV vaccines
  2. Develop a platform that can be utilized to engage youth in routine immunization, including HPV vaccines and new
vaccine introductions, through interactive tools that ensure their participation is meaningful and contributes to
decision-making at the national and county levels. 3. Produce youth-driven content and strengthen the visibility of
routine immunization activities through strategic communication and capacity-building efforts that will empower youth
participation in driving the routine immunization agenda forward. 4. Gather and produce compelling multimedia
packages, including videos, human-interest stories, and social media posts on routine immunization targeting the youth.
  3. Compile and submit a comprehensive report documenting the implementation of the youth engagement strategy and
lessons learned for the uptake of routine immunizations. This will include digital tools, culturally sensitive campaigns,
and peer-to-peer advocacy activity reports that will be employed to dispel myths, combat misinformation, and
demonstrate the influence of youth engagement in increasing vaccine uptake in the implementing counties.
