VisionFund Kenya, a key investment of World Vision Kenya, is seeking a Business Insurance Manager to lead the strategy, development, and rollout of microinsurance products that strengthen the resilience of underserved communities.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement microinsurance strategy.

Design simple, affordable products (life, health, crop, livestock).

Conduct market research and manage product pilot testing.

Drive marketing, financial literacy campaigns, and product uptake.

Build partnerships with MFIs, cooperatives, and community groups.

Oversee operations: premium collection, policy issuance & claims.

Provide performance monitoring, reporting, and impact assessments.

Work with World Vision Kenya teams to expand outreach.

Train staff and promote a customer-centered culture.

🎯 Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk, Finance, Economics, or related field.

5–7 years in insurance/microinsurance with strong product development experience.

Professional insurance certification (AIIK, ACII, CII) required.

Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Strong skills in stakeholder management, operations, marketing, M&E, and training.

Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.

Must be a professing and practicing Christian.
