Position Summary:
IRC is seeking a Business Operations Officer to join its Nairobi office. The officer will support strategic operations, improve internal workflows, and ensure that business processes are aligned with IRC’s mission and compliance standards. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple tasks across departments in a fast-paced humanitarian setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the daily coordination of IRC’s operational functions (HR, logistics, procurement, and finance).
- Maintain compliance with IRC policies and donor regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal tracking and decision-making.
- Assist with audits, risk assessments, and operational planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a non-profit or humanitarian organization.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with international NGOs is a plus.
