
FSD Africa, a specialist development agency working to strengthen financial markets across Africa, is recruiting for the position of Officer, Procurement based in Nairobi.
The successful candidate will support the implementation of FSD Africa’s procurement strategy, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and transparent acquisition of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities include:
– Developing and managing annual procurement plans.
– Supporting vendor identification, evaluation, and due diligence.
-Coordinating procurement processes and asset disposal.
-Ensuring compliance, accountability, and robust contract management.
-Using procurement systems and dashboards to enhance reporting and performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
📜 Professional CIPS qualification (full or partial).
💼 Minimum of 2 years’ post-graduation experience in procurement management.
💻 Strong knowledge of procurement systems (ERP/Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
🌐 Excellent communication and analytical skills; familiarity with donor-funded programmes is an added advantage.
